Deutsch: Plapoutas war 1832 Teil eines dreiköpfigen Ausschusses, weitere Mitglieder neben ihm waren Admiral Andreas Miaoulis und General Kostas Botsaris. Das Komitee hatte den Auftrag, nach München zu reisen, um dem König von Bayern (Ludwig I.) „die gemeinsame Freude des Volkes über die Besteigung Seiner Königlichen Hoheit Prinz Otto von Bayern auf dem königlichen Thron des Heimatlandes auszudrücken und sowohl die Ergebenheit als auch die Unterwerfung der Nation zu seinem König zu bekennen“. Am 9. Oktober 1832 traf sich das Komitee mit dem König von Bayern und dem zukünftigen König von Griechenland Otto I.
English: Plapoutas was part of a three-member committee in 1832; other members besides him were Admiral Andreas Miaoulis and General Kostas Botsaris. The committee had the task of travelling to Munich to express to the King of Bavaria (Ludwig I) „the common joy of the people at the ascension of His Royal Highness Prince Otto of Bavaria to the royal throne of the homeland and to profess both the devotion and submission of the nation to its king“. On 9 October 1832, the committee met with the King of Bavaria and the future King of Greece, Otto I.
