Summary

edit
Description Spikelets are paired, 3-5 mm long and covered in long silky, brown or purple hairs that almost conceal the spikelet. Lower glume is hairless and mostly to 35% as long as the spikelet. Upper glume and sterile lower lemma are about equal and densely hairy. Fertile floret is a little shorter than the spikelet.
