| Description |
English: The Glossop branch platforms at Dinting, with a class 303 visible on the Hadfield-Glossop arm of the triangular station. The masts in the foreground were installed new for the 1984 re-electrification at 25kV, but compound catenary wires from the DC era appear to have been retained. An air of dereliction pervaded the whole site in the late 1980s with Derbyshire County Council rather grudgingly supporting both this and the Buxton line. |
