Summary

edit
Description We move away from the dinosaur exhibit now in the Museum of Nature, Ottawa (only to stumble upon a larger and more elaborate dinosaur section later). Here is a polar scene, a part photographic, part diorama exhibit. Seen to the left are a pair of bison (called buffalo in that part of the world) and a huskie (a breed of dog). Several huskies in tandem are used to haul sleds with passengers and cargo through the snow in some areas of Canada. The huskie seen here is also probably part of a lash up of eight or ten dogs as the strap around his upper body seems to suggest. (Ottawa, Canada, June 2015)
