Description
English: Discobolus: The Discus Thrower is a public statue in Hemel hempstead , UK. It used to grace the country mansion 'Amerfoot' in Potten End, but was bought by the New Town Development Corporation in 1960. It and once stood in the Marlowes shopping area but was later moved to its current location in the Water Gardens. It is a bronze copy of a 5th century Greek marble original.
