Description
English: Disney tombs. The upper tomb is late 13th century to a Sir William Disney (or D'Isigny). The Disney family were Norman and originated from Isigny near Bayeaux. The lower tomb has Norman-French inscription roughly translating to 'here lies Joan, wife of Sir William Disney and daughter of Sir Nicholas de Landford' probably the wife of the Sir William of the adjacent tomb. Arms of Disney: Argent, three lions passant in pale gules[1]. Arms of Langford
