| Description |
English: Disused Lagan Navigation near Moira (1) The Lagan Navigation was formally abandoned in 1954. Most of it is overgrown. This section near Moira (looking towards Belfast) is the curates egg of canals overgrown in parts. It is very close to Moira station and the bridge in the background carries the Belfast-Dublin railway. The towpath here is popular with locals at the weekend when the station car park is almost empty! |
