Deutsch: Vorderseite: DIVO AVG T DIVI VESP F VESPASIAN // S C. Titus in Toga sitzt auf kurulischem Stuhl l., umgeben von Waffen: l. Schild und Helm, r. zwei Schilde und Speere, neben ihm Panzer und Helm. In der r. Hand hält er einen Zweig und in der l. Hand eine Schriftrolle (rotulus).
Rückseite: Perspektivische Ansicht des Colosseums (Flavisches Amphitheater). Drei Arkaden-Geschosse, die zweigeschossige Innenseite gefüllt mit Zuschauern. Ganz l. Fontäne (meta sudans), r. Teil eines zweigeschossigen Gebäudes (Titusthermen?). Kommentar: „Solange das Kolosseum steht, steht auch Rom. Wenn das Kolosseum fällt, fällt auch Rom. Wenn Rom fällt, fällt auch die Welt“ (Beda Venerabilis, 673-735 n. Chr.). - Das Flavische Amphitheater wurde mit 100 Tage dauernden Spielen im Jahre 80 n. Chr. eingeweiht. Es faßte ca. 50.000 Zuschauer. Seinen Namen Kolosseum, der auf eine kolossale Statue des Nero, die dann zum Helios umgearbeitet wurde, zurückgeht, trägt es erst seit dem Mittelalter.
