Description
Deutsch: Über 15 Dolinen auf einem Feld an der B28 zwischen Zainingen und Donstetten, Mittlere Schwäbische Alb. Die Häufung ist eindeutig auf einen besonders stark verkarsteten Untergrund zurückzuführen. Wenn sich Klüfte/Spalten (auch tektonische Risse im Gestein) geweitet haben, kann der Oberboden einsacken. Wenn eine so erhebliche Häufung auf kleiner Fläche vorliegt, kann sogar auf höhlenartig große Hohlräume, die (zum Teil) eingestürzt sind, geschlossen werden.

English: 15 or more sinkholes on a field between Zainingen and Donnstetten, Swabian Alb. Such an accumulation of sinkholes on a small area of land indicates intense karstification (including fracture tectonics), where the surface may have even sunk due to large holes or caves.
