Español: El lienzo representa a la Virgen María como Dolorosa. En este lienzo, que es una copia de la Dolorosa que pintó Bartolomé Esteban Murillo y que se conserva en el Meadows Museum of Art, la Virgen María aparece de medio cuerpo y cubierta con un manto y un velo, al tiempo que su rostro aparece girado hacia la derecha y con la vista fijada en el cielo. Y la Virgen también es mostrada con las manos sobre su pecho y recogiéndose un velo proveniente del manto con la mano derecha.
