Magyar: A Dombóvári Illyés Gyula Gimnáziumban az 1960-as években, fakultatív jelleggel, eszperantó nyelvoktatás is folyt. Hagyományosan megszervezték évente az eszperantó bálokat is. A gimnáziumnak van egy öregdiákja, dr. Gyöngyössy György orvos, eszperantista. 2013-ban a Dél-dunántúli Regionális Alapítvány (DURA), a 2007-ben indított Kőbefújt plakátok Eszperantó Emléktábla Projekt keretén belül ajándékozta ezt az impala gránit emléktáblát az intézménynek. Ebben az évben volt 90 éves az eszperantó mozgalom Dombóváron. A tábla átadó ünnepségen jelen volt Szabó Imre a Magyarországi Eszperantó Szövetség (MESZ) elnöke ill. Eszényi József MESZ elnökségi tag is. A táblát G. Nagy Róbert a DURA elnöke készítette. |
