Domuzarabe are a special battle chart made by Serbian revels during Serbian revolution for fighting Ottoman troops. The name comes from Domuz which means pig in Turkish and Arabe which means fence.

English: Domuzarabe are a special battle chart made by Serbian rebels during Serbian revolution for fighting Ottoman troops. The name comes from Domuz which means pig in Turkish and Arabe which means fence. It is a charts used by pig merchants for transporting pigs which Serbian soldiers modifed by putting planks or palisade on it. The idea was that soldiers use charts with planks as mobile defense so that they can hide behing palisade on chart and shoot and at same time move. It played pivotal role at victories at battle of Palez and Dublje. |
