Description
Español: Glorieta de Don Modesto Laza en el Parque de Málaga, Málaga, España. Modesto Laza (1901-1981) fue farmacéutico y botánico, concejal del Ayuntamiento de Malaga, presidente de la Sociedad malagueña de Ciencias, impulsor de la Universidad de Málaga y uno de los fundadores y presidente del Ateneo malagueño. A su labor se debe la conservación del Jardín botánico La Concepción, que Laza intentó salvar de la invasión urbanística. En 1991 el Ayuntamiento le concedió la medada de Oro de la Ciudad y el nombramiento de Hijo Predilecto, a título póstumo.[1] En el centro de la glorieta se encuentra parte de la fuente conocida como fuente de los Amorcillos.
