Notes InfoField | Note 1: On the McCord Museum version of the image, the Neurdein mark "ND Phot." is almost invisible, printed in black letters on a black background (in the water) near the bottom right. It can be seen by looking closely at the maximum enlargement on the website of the Museum. It is easier to see and printed slightly higher on the bilingual version [2]. Note 2: The description on the McCord Museum website is incomplete about the author and the year. The photograph is part of the series published by Neurdein. The year would be 1907, when the Neurdein photographs in Québec were taken.) |
