SummaryEdit

Description
English: New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina:

Flood silt covers a not yet cleared residential side street, Lower 9th Ward. This block of the street is blocked off by houses knocked off their foundations at either end.

I'd guess the stool in the middle of the street was placed there by an earlier post-flood visitor, but I've seen enough improbably placed objects in the aftermath of the storm not to discount the possibility that it was left like that by the flood waters.
