Description
English: This photo was taken just after a historically devastating tornado destroyed much of the city of Joplin, MO on the evening of May 22nd, 2011. As the storm passed Springfield, the atmosphere and lighting was very unusual. A double rainbow appeared over the city center. The camera was facing north-east and positioned at a point along Route 66 near Grant Avenue, just west of the city square in downtown Springfield MO.
