<a href="https://www.flickr.com/groups/hereios/">We're Here!</a> to show and tell our <a href="https://www.flickr.com/groups/phototechniques/">phototechniques</a>. One technique I use is the PANO-sabotage, which is using an iPhone (and perhaps some other brands and models) in panorama mode, but NOT moving the phone/camera smoothly. By a combination of waving, tilting, flipping, wiggling, etc. a variety of unusual and mostly unpredictable effects occur. In this photo, I was standing in front of a mirror, but as I rotated the phone I also shuffled over in the same direction as the camera spun. This allowed me to capture myself in the reflection (sabotaged) and a second time directly by the camera. Getting multiple selfies in one shot is quite a challenge. The color was adjusted with selectively applying white balance and color enhancement tools in GIMP. |
