Description Photographed while snorkelling at Ned's Beach, Lord Howe Island, this fish is found only in the northern Tasman Sea around Lord Howe, Norfolk Islands, Middleton and Elizaberh Reefs and perhaps northern New South Wales. The vegetation visible on the sea floor is the marine flowering plant Halophila ovalis (Hydrocharitaceae). Image N15-0375, April 2015.
