Description	English: Two U.S. Navy Douglas A-1 Skyraider (A-1H: BuNo 134586; A-1J BuNo 142080) of Attack Squadron 145 (VA-145) "Swordsmen" aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61). VA-145 was were assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the Ranger for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 10 December 1965 to 5 August 1966. The A-1H 134586 was hit by small arms fire over the Quang Ninh Province, North Vietnam, on 3 August 1966. The pilot was able to fly out over the Gulf of Tonkin where he bailed out and was rescued. The A-1J 142080 was the second last produced Skyraider. It was later transferred to the U.S. Air Force and served with the 602nd Special Operations Squadron. It was shot down over Laos on 15 February 1969. The pilot was killed.
