Summary edit

Description

Of the 7,500 Douglas A-20 built, 3,500 were delivered to Russia during WW2. Despite the fact that only fifteen examples now survive worldwide, it shouldn't be a great surprise to find one on display at Monino! The A-20G was the most produced version, and was the first to feature a solid rather than glazed nose. A little known fact is that post-war the type was given the NATO codename 'Box'! This rare survivor was originally allocated US military serial 43-10052 and was initially on display marked as '310052'. c/n 15328. On display at the Russian Air Force Museum. Monino, Russia.
