Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 147743) of Attack Squadron 153 (VA-153) "Blue Tail Flies" is given landing instructions by a technical crewman using the Landing Signal Officer's (LSO) console as the LSO watches, aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64), in October 1966. The console is equipped with a radio communication system, television screen, and radar and other control instruments. VA-153 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 15 (CVW-15) aboard the Constellation for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 12 May to 3 December 1966.
