| Description |
English: c/n 32513. Full US military serial 44-83872. Transferred to the US Navy in 1945 and given the Bureau No. 77235 (the same name:B-17G). Retired in 1956, she flew on survey work for the Aero Service Corporation between 1957 and 1967 before joining the Confederate Air Force (CAF) in Texas. She is still based in Texas and is still operated by the CAF, although the organisation has now been renamed as the Commemorative Air Force.
She is seen on the morning of the 2019 ‘Wings Over Dallas’ WWII Airshow. Dallas Executive Airport, Redbird, Dallas, Texas. 27th October 2019 |
