Summary

Description
English: Dowel Resurgence. This cave opposite the entrance to Dowall Hall can apparently be followed for approximately 12 metres. There is a man-made stone arch (visible in this picture) at the entrance to the cave, and another arch, this one apparently natural, just behind it. Dowel Cave, which yielded archaeological evidence of Neolithic occupation, is nearby.
