English: Doxey Marshes nature reserve The north end of Doxey Marsh on a cold and murky winter afternoon. The marsh, much of which is designated a Site of Special and Scientific Interest makes an extraordinary and unlikely nature reserve. Managed by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust it is surrounded on the west and east by houses, to the south by Stafford town itself and is split by the main West Coast railway line. To the north it is bounded by the M6! |
