Description
English: Dr Mott's Road "Dr Mott's Road is an old track, now a bridleway that leads from Cardingmill Valley onto the top of Long Mynd. It was thought to have been the route used by doctors of Church Stretton to reach their patients in far flung farms." http://www.search.secretshropshire.org.uk/engine/resource/default.asp?theme=2047&originator=%2Fengine%2Ftheme%2Fdefault%2Easp&page=14&records=670&direction=2&pointer=12281&text=1&resource=1345 Now shown on maps as simply "Mott's Road", and followed by the Jack Mytton Way. In this square it crosses the plateau of the Long Mynd before dropping into 462291 below the rounded heights of Haddon Hill.
