Деревянный щит, обтянутый камкой

Это один из числа четырех щитов, бывших в Оружейной казне и описанных в 1687 г. следующим образом: «Четыре щита деревянные липовые, оклеены с лица червчатым отласом, а внутри красными дорогами; с лица голун серебрен и в том числе один с дорошками; да на двух навершье железные, на них по орлу двоеглавому, да по осьми клеем розных, да по две каемки наведены серебром, да по двенадцати репьев медных репейчатых; для привяски пряшки медные; привяски под одною шолк красной, а другие нитеные.

В одном подушка кумашная красная; на двух щитах репьи медные ж позолочены; на верху по репью большому, да на верху ж по щиту по двадцати по одному репью; привяски пряшки медные, тесмы цветные шолковые; у однаго подушка тафтяная красная.

А по нынешней переписи рч`є года, те щиты с прежними переписными книгами сошлись, а по осмотру у однаго подушки нет; цена тем щитам с железными навершьи по пяти рублев, а с медными навершьи по четыре рубли щит; а в прежней описной книге написаны в двадцатой статье».
