Summary edit

Description

Scattered among the medieval (and modern) architecture of southern France are ancient Roman ruins. Hard to actually call Pont Julien a ruin though, as it is still fully functional despite being built ~50 BC (part of the main Roman road from Northern Italy to Spain). In fact, cars were using it until 2005 when they finally decided to "preserve it"! The river below consisted of a few puddles in September, but can fill the arches more than half way in winter.
