Summary

Description
English: Dual-axis tracking vs. Fixed-tilt solar array output. The misalignment indicates that the fixed tilt array was aligned closer to magnetic south than true south. The magnetic declination in that location is 15.25° W. Occasionally the average sun is greater in the morning than the afternoon over the course of a year, or vice versa, making it better to align an array to other than true south. For example, it always seem to rain every afternoon in parts of Hawaii.
