Description
English: Duffields' Animal Feeds - weighbridge and reception The watermill on this site was one of the few working mills left in Norfolk in 2003. It was owned and run by Duffields, who in 1980 built ten new grain silos which had a storage capacity of 5000 tonnes. At the height of flour production the company was exclusively using locally grown wheat to supply biscuit flour to companies such as Huntley & Palmer, Peak Freans, Jacobs, Nabisco, Mars, Rowntree Mackintosh, Cadburys, Heinz, Lyons, Beechams, Farleys and Colmans. In 1991 the company announced closure of the flour milling arm of the business in order to concentrate exclusively on the animal feed side.
