Description
Deutsch: 54597 Duppach, nord-westlich von Duppach. Die Quelle liegt im gleichnamigen Duppacher Maar. Die stark Kohlensäurehaltige Mineralquelle wurde in Stein gefasst und überdacht und ist für alle Bürger und Besucher frei zugänglich. Der geologische Unterbau besteht hier aus Sand- und Siltstein-Schichten der Unterdevon-Zeit. Bei der „Duppacher-Quelle“ handelt es sich um ein Quellwasser, das mit 3551 mg/l einen hohen CO2-Gehalt aufweist und besonders mit Calcium und Magnesium relativ stark mineralisiert ist.
