English: Durga Temple located in Ward No. 4 of Kailali District. It is also known as Jai Maa Godavari, Durga Temple Godavari and Durga Mata Temple. The temple is located on the right bank of the river Godavari at a distance of about 9 km from Ataria in Kailali district on the way to Dadeldhura. This shrine is famous from religious point of view and also from tourist point of view. This Temple is located in the lush greenery full of natural resources. There is a very attractive and beautiful idol of Goddess Durga in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. There are also idols of various other deities in the temple premises.
