Description
This media shows a South African Protected Site with SAHRA file reference 9/2/092/0041.
Afrikaans: Plaket by die NG Kerk, Malgas, Swellendam-distrik 
Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk
Omstreeks 1855 is met die bou van hierdie kerk begin. Dit is op 7 Desember 1861 in gebruik geneem. Malgas was toe 'n belangrike binnelandse hawe vir die skepe van die firma Barry en Neefs wat tussen die Overberg en Kaapstad gevaar het.

Dutch Reformed Church
Work on this church commenced on 7 December 1855. It was inaugurated on 7 December 1861. Malgas was then an important inland harbour for the ships of the firm Barry and Nephews sailing between the Overberg and Cape Town.
