Summary edit

Description

at Penryn

This Dutch street organ 'Het Blauwtje' (translated as 'the Little Blue') is one of the more recent arrivals into the UK, and is owned by James Dundon in Cornwall. It started life as a different and considerably smaller 49 key Marenghi organ instrument in the 1920s in the Netherlands, and having seen many changes is now a 52 Key Verbeeck playing on the Limonaire scale. It has a great repertoire of books both traditional and modern to keep all ages entertained.

(Here it was filmed at the South West Organ Festival at Dingles Fairground Museum in Devon on Saturday 3rd May.)
