DescriptionEB1911 Plants (Cytology) - reconstruction of the daughter nuclei of Phaseolus.jpg |
English: Plant cytology: reconstruction of the daughter nuclei of Phaseolus. The relation of the nucleolus to the chromosomes is clearly seen in the reconstruction of the daughter nuclei after division in the cells of the root-apex of Phaseolus (A to F). The chromosomes (A) unite to form an irregular mass (B) out of which is evolved the nucleolus and nuclear network (E, F) by a fusion of the chromosomes (C, D). |
