Description WaterSense logo. EPA established the WaterSense Program to protect the future of our nation's water supply by offering people a simple way to use less water with water-efficient products, new homes, and services. Products are independently certified to be at least 20% more efficient without sacrificing performance. Since the program's inception in 2006, WaterSense has helped consumers save a cumulative 757 billion gallons of water and more than $14.2 billion in water and energy bills. www.epa.gov/watersense/about_us/index.html
