Description
English: Public engagement by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for the procurement of battery electric buses as part of their Zero Emission Regional Bus Areas 2 (ZEBRA2) bid to the UK government. A sort-of roadshow of battery-electric Volvo BZL demonstrator BV72 KPF was held by multiple partners including East Yorkshire Motor Services, Stagecoach in Hull, and the Hull and East Riding councils in Hull City Centre and Hessle Square on 29 November 2023, ahead of further trial-running of the bus between Hull and Hessle. Opinions and suggestions were encouraged by council staff as the general public was invited to look around the bus.
