Nach der Wende (1990) wurde Eisenach wieder Ziel der Deutschen Burschenschaften, die hier zu jährlichen Treffen am Burschenschaftsdenkmal zusammentreffen. Das Haus liegt an einem Zugangsweg zum Denkmal und besitzt eine Schankstube "Zum Burschen".
