Gegenüber dem Gehöft mündet die vom gegenüberliegenden Eisenacher Ortsteil Fischbach kommende Auestraße in den Eichrodter Weg ein. Sie führt über eine Hörselbrücke. |

Seit den 1990er Jahren wurde das Gehöft von Gewerbestandorten eingekreist - östlich entstand das Gebiet "In der güldenen Aue" (Auch "Im Räuberloch").
