Description
Deutsch: Das aus der ARD-Fernsehserie Familie Dr. Kleist bekannte Haus befindet sich auf der Westseite des Marktplatzes und ist seit Generationen im Besitz der Eisenacher Kaufmannsfamilie Mattheus. Leider ist das prachtvolle Fachwerk (aus Brandschutzgründen nach den beiden verheerenden Stadtbränden Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts) heute unter Putzschichten verborgen.

Auch das dahinter erkennbare Haus mit der Schindelverkleidung gehört zum Grundstück und wird gewerblich genutzt.
