Una banda color celeste, donde se indica el nombre del cantón. Una torre de ladrillo, de color doradoque representa el desarrollo del cantón. Un escudo dividido en tres secciones, que representan elementos importantes para la existencia de Montes de Oro: Educación: como impulsor del desarrollo de los habitantes del cantón. Ganadería: la cual es de las principales labores del habitantes oromontanos. Minería: la cual se debe a los ricos minerales con los que cuentan nuestras montañas, en especial el oro. Ademas se representa la vista al Golfo de Nicoya que caracteriza a las montañas del cantón. Dos ramas unidas por un lazo rojo. Otra banda celeste, donde se indica “1915”, año de fundación del cantón. |
