This is a five-second image taken at 23:56:00 UT on 10 November 2022. The image shows Bluewalker 3 at the beginning of the unfolding of the array together with a second object, believed to be the launch vehicle adapter. The measured apparent magnitude is V=6.2 for Bluewalker 3 and V=6.4 for the launch vehicle adapter at a range of 960 km. Observers: Eduardo Unda-Sanzana, Christian Adam, and Juan Pablo Colque. |
