English: Early autumn, Garbh Abhainn Conditions on a boulder top are probably not too good for a growing tree. This rowan is shutting up shop early. A rare survivor in the land of deer.
The loch is narrow here, and entirely artificial, the shores of the original Loch Quoich have been left and this is the glen of the lost Garbh Abhainn. This must have been a fearsome river, especially the day when 200mm of rain fell. |
