English: View from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, in north-eastern direction towards East Greenwich together with the Thames loop in April 1995. In mid-left position you can see the old Greenwich Power Station and on the right the gasometer of the long-ago East Greenwich Gas Works. The O2 wasn't erected until four years later.
Deutsch: Blick vom alten Observatorium von Greenwich, London, in Richtung Nordosten auf East Greenwich mitsamt Themseschleife im April 1995. Mitte links das alte Kraftwerk Greenwich Power Station. Rechts daneben das Gasometer der ehem. East Greenwich Gas Works. Das O2 entstand erst vier Jahre später.
