English: East end of Newbiggin At its eastern end, Newbiggin opens out into a small square, in the corner of which is number 11 with its attractive doorcase. It is said that John Wesley preached to the citizens of Richmond from the steps in front of the door. The buildings to the left are built on a slight curve, following the line of the old town wall. |
