English: Eastern bridge over Desborough Cut The 3/4-mile lond Desborough Cut was excavated in 1930-4 in order to avoid the large Lower Halliford bend. Two very similar bridges were built to connect the island so formed to the southern bank. They were opened in 1933 and each carries a minor road. |
