| Description |
English: Ebley Mill Looking along the Stroudwater Canal with the imposing buildings of Ebley Mill, now restored and housing the offices of Stroud District Council.
The large part of the mill to the right of the chimney was built by Stephen Clissold between 1818 and 1820. In the 1870s, 800 people were employed in the mill so given its current use things could be said to have almost gone full circle! |
