DescriptionEdington-church2.jpg |
The west end of Edington Priory, in Wiltshire, taken in March 1999. This is another of my early attempts to use Photoshop 3, with uncertain results, particularly in the sky. Edington lies on the edge of Salisbury Plain. The church was built by William of Edington and was completed in 1361. Pevsner describes it as wonderful and highly important. He gives its full name: St Mary, St Katherine, and All Saints. |
