English: in memory of the victims of Nazi terror

Köln-Ehrenfeld (Cologne-Ehrenfeld)

Translation: This marks the site where, on October 25, 1944, eleven citizens of Poland and the USSR, kidnapped for forced labor in Germany and on November 11, 1944, thirteen Germans, including young Edelweiss Pirates from Ehrenfeld and other fighters against war and terror, were publicly hanged, without trial, by the Gestapo and SS.
Deutsch: Originaltext der Gedenktafel in Köln-Ehrenfeld: Hier wurden am 25.10.1944 elf vom NS-Regime zur Zwangsarbeit nach Deutschland verschleppte Bürger Polens und der UdSSR und am 10.11.1944 dreizehn Deutsche, unter ihnen jugendliche Edelweißpiraten aus Ehrenfeld so wie andere Kämpfer gegen Krieg und Terror, ohne Gerichtsurteil öffentlich durch Gestapo und SS gehenkt.
