Author Own work based on: Ehrlich–Schwoebel barrier.jpg

This image was based on https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ehrlich%E2%80%93Schwoebel_barrier.jpg but I changed the location of potential energy to coincide with correct atomic positions. I also added a bar indicating potential energy increase as well as arrows to clarify the two adatoms.
