Description
The steamship Hroptatyr had a short career. She was built by Kjøbenhavns Flydedok in 1913 for the Gefion Steamship Company. In 1916 she was sunk in the English Channel by U-18 with the loss of two crew. jmarcussen.dk (in Danish). The experts at Bruun Rasmussen read the date as 1910 but that does not make sense.
